  2-5 hrs

ingredients

5 pork chops, cubed
1 1/2 pound round steak, cubed
4 cups water
1 rib celery, chopped

3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 can (15 ounce size) bean sprouts, drained

directions

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed pork and round steak. Cook, stirring, until browned on all sides. Drain off any excess grease then add the meat to the crock pot.

Add the water, celery, and onion to the crock pot. Mix well.

Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 3 hours or until the meat is cooked.

Combine the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Add the cornstarch mixture, soy sauce, and bean sprouts to the crock pot. Stir well.

Cover the crock pot and cook for 15-20 more minutes or until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.

Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
