ingredients
4 cups uncooked rice
1/2 cup taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup dried corn
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon dried basil
directions
Combine the rice, taco seasoning mix, dried corn, parsley, and basil. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 months.
To prepare Spanish Rice: Mix one cup of the mix with two cups liquid (water or broth) in a saucepan. Add one tablespoons butter. Heat on medium high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
