ingredients

1 pound fully cooked kielbasa or polish sausage
1 medium onion
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
2 cans (14.5 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cups water
1 1/2 cup uncooked parboiled (converted) rice
1 cup salsa
1 can (4 ounce size) chopped green chiles
1 package (1.25 ounce size) taco seasoning

directions

Slice the sausage into 1/4-inch slices and add to the crock pot.

Chop the onion and bell peppers and add to the crock pot.

Add the tomatoes with their juice, water, rice, salsa, green chiles, and taco seasoning.

Mix all the ingredients well then cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the rice is tender. Stir before serving.
