The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1-2 hrs
ingredients
3 pounds ground venison
2 cans green beans
8 cups mashed potatoes
32 slices American cheese
2 onions, chopped
Meat Spices
6 tablespoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine spices and mix well with the ground venison. In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the seasoned venison and onion in oil for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meat is browned. Drain excess fat if any and place this mixture in the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer the green beans, over the venison mixture.
Prepare the potatoes according to package directions (if using instant), but add some extra milk or water to make it a little runny. Layer the entire casserole with the potatoes. Place the cheese over the potatoes in an even layer.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour, or until potatoes get slightly crusty and the sides of the dish are bubbly.
