Tried recipe as listed, Super easy, turned out Great. i used 2 roast from a mature rutting buck (did not pre-soak meat, just thawed and rinsed) and had no "gamey" taste at all, highly recommend for a hearty supper on a cold night!

I made this recipe on a cold winter day(sunday). It developed a delightful crust. the combination of vinegar and brown sugar produced a fantastic seet and sour gravy. Unfortunately i used cut up Stew meat accidentaly and slightly overcooked. will do again soon with correct cut
