Slow Cooker Italian Venison Sandwiches

ingredients

2 cups water
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 pounds boneless venison roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
12 sandwich rolls

directions

Combine the water, soup mix, beef bouillon granules, and seasonings in the crock pot. Stir to mix and dissolve the soup mix.

Add the cubed venison and stir well to coat in the liquid.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 8 hours or until the venison is tender and cooked through.

Remove the venison with a slotted spoon and put on sandwich rolls with any desired condiments. Serve hot.
