non-stick cooking spray
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup finely chopped celery
1 pound lean ground lamb
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons reduced-calorie ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Coat a small nonstick skillet with cooking spray, and place over medium heat until hot. Add onion and celery; saute 5 minutes.
Combine onion mixture, lamb, and remaining ingredients in a large bowl, and stir well.
Divide mixture into equal portions, shaping each into a 4-inch patty. Place patties on a broiler rack coated with cooking spray, and place rack on a broiler pan. Broil 5-1/2 inches from heat 4 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
