Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions. Eat warm - but not hot - or cool.
cook's notes
A moist and chewy loaf like this one makes good peanut butter, tuna, or fresh ham sandwiches and excellent toast. It goes well with vegetable and meat soups, especially Scotch broth.

This sounds like a great recipe, but I don't have a bread machine. I've had this problem before. Anyone know how I could make it without a machine? Thanks.

so good! I used 1/4 cup extra bread flour, powdered buttermilk for the dry milk, omitted orange zest and Wonderslim, did add the sesame seeds for some good fat. Will make this again and looking forward to toast with orange marmalade on it.
