Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

ingredients
1 package (3 ounce size) orange gelatin
1 package (3 ounce size) lime gelatin
1 package (3 ounce size) cherry gelatin
1 package (3 ounce size) lemon gelatin
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
3 graham cracker crusts
directions
Two days before serving prepare the orange, lime, and cherry gelatin separately with 1/2 cup hot water and 1/4 cup cold water for each box. Congeal overnight.
The next day, heat until melted the box of lemon gelatin, pineapple juice and sugar. Cool. Whip whipping cream and blend with lemon gelatin mixture. Cut the orange, green and red gelatin into very small pieces. Add to whipped cream mixture.
Pour into pie crusts. Refrigerate overnight. Cut each pie into 8 equal pieces.
