Slow Cooker Chocolate Brownie Pudding Cake

ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups dry brownie mix
1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon soft margarine
1/4 cup water
directions
Grease the bottom and sides of the crock pot.
Combine the brown sugar, water, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring frequently.
In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, egg, peanut butter, margarine and water. Beat with a mixer on medium speed until all ingredients are incorporated.
Pour the peanut butter brownie batter in the crock pot. Pour the hot brown sugar mixture over the top. Do not stir.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 2 hours. Turn off the crock pot and leave covered for 30 minutes.
To serve, scoop the pudding cake into individual serving bowls. Top with ice cream or whipped cream.

@Kim, I just let it boil long enough for everything to dissolve and be hot. I didn't stir it, just pour the mixture over. It's sort of like a self frosting cake and it gets very puddingy.
How long do you let it boil for? after you pour the cocoa hot mixture in the crock do you stir it?
