ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 bags (13 ounces, each) miniature chocolate coated nougat or caramel candy bars, unwrapped

1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

directions
In mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar, beating well with electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda, add to creamed mixture and beat until combined. Shape about 1 tablespoon dough around each miniature candy bar, forming a ball with the candy inside.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
For glaze, combine confectioners' sugar and cocoa powder. Add 1 tablespoon milk, stirring well. Stir in additional milk until mixture reaches desired consistency for glazing. Drizzle over cookies.
