Slow Cooker Prairie Fire Dip

A spicy twist on traditional bean dips, this prairie fire dip blends refried beans with Monterey Jack cheese and chili powder. A perfect choice for game day snacking (or any snacking for that matter).

ingredients
1 can (16 ounce size) fat-free refried beans
1/2 cup shredded fat-free Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon minced dried onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons chili powder
hot sauce as desired
directions
Combine the refried beans, cheese, water, onion, garlic, chili powder, and hot sauce in a bowl and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a well-greased crock pot. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 1-2 hours or until heated through.
Stir well before serving. Serve the dip hot with tortilla or corn chips.
