ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons margarine
3 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
3 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups diced potatoes
1 can (14.5 ounce size) evaporated milk
minced parsley
directions
Cook onion slowly in butter until golden. Add cabbage to the onion with water, salt and potato. Cook until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Add milk and reheat, but do not boil. Serve sprinkled with minced parsley.
