4 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a medium mixer bowl, beat eggs until thick and light colored. Set aside.
Using same beaters, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in the well-beaten eggs. Add vanilla and mix well.
Blend in the flour, alternating with the half-and-half, until well combined.
Preheat Scandinavian krumkaker iron. Grease lightly if not non-stick. Following iron baking instructions, drop scant tablespoon dough on medium-hot iron for each krumkaker. Watch carefully so they don't burn, it only takes about 1/2 minute to 1 minute to bake. Krumkaker should just barely start to turn light brown. Remove when done to your liking, and roll into cone shape.
These keep well in airtight container and can be frozen.
