Cornflake And Nut Meringues

ingredients
1 egg white
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup cornflakes
directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Beat egg white in large bowl. Beat in sugar gradually. Beat in the salt and vanilla. Fold in the walnuts and cornflakes.
Take up heaping teaspoonfuls of the mixture and push with another teaspoon onto a well-oiled baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes or until surface is dry but not brown. Remove from pan with a spatula while still warm.
