ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
1 pinch salt
directions
Combine all ingredients and stir until dissolved. Cook until the hard ball stage is reached.
Remove from heat and pour into a greased pan. When cold, hit with a knife handle so that it will crack into pieces.
