Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Mine came out runny too. Even let it sit all night and it never did garden. Won't use this recipe again...something is missing.
It wasn't boiled long enough then. If it's not cooked to soft ball stage (235F) then it won't set up.

The recipe didn't give a final temp to cook the candy to, so mine ended up being a thick caramel instead of solid candy. I've never made fudge, so I don't know how thick it was supposed to be before pouring it into the pan. I'm sure it won't go to waste, but I'm disappointed that it didn't turn out right.
