It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

My husband and I stayed at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay, WI in 2006. What a beautiful place with outstanding hospitality! It was a treat to find these absolutely yummy cookies available in a big jar in the main house. I must admit that I ate more than my share! The combination of ingredients can't be beat. I've made them several times and use the Heath Milk Chocolate Toffee Bits instead of having to chop the candy bars...much easier. Kudos to the wonderful cooks/bakers at the White Lace Inn for a super-delicious treat!
