ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sesame seed
1 cup raisins
1 cup quick-cooking oats
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda, salt and nutmeg; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until well blended.
Gradually add flour mixture and continue beating until well blended. Stir in sesame seeds, raisins and oats.
Drop by tablespoons on to baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on racks.
