ingredients
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup baking mix
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup baking mix
directions
Layer and pack ingredients in canning jars in the order given. (Note the two equal measures of baking mix, separated by the light brown sugar.) Attach recipe:
For Hustle-Bustle Butterscotch-Oatmeal Cookies: Empty contents of jar into a medium mixing bowl. Stir in 1 stick melted butter or margarine, 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla until well-combined.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray or parchment paper. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
