ingredients
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup shredded coconut
1 teaspoon orange extract
4 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
directions
Sift together dry ingredients. Cream butter gradually, adding sugar and creaming together well. Stir in coconut and extract.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream beginning and ending with dry ingredients, blending thoroughly after each addition.
Turn into ungreased 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 to 65 minutes.
