1 can any flavor pie filling
1 box (18.25 ounce size) yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine, softened
1/3 cup chopped nuts

directions

Grease the interior of a crock pot. Place pie filling in prepared crock pot.

In a bowl, combine the dry cake mix and margarine, mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over pie filling, then sprinkle with nuts. Do not stir.

Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.

    This recipe is absolutely divine!! Serve warm with ice cream!! I added light brown sugar and apple pie spice to the apple mixture and then quick oats to the cake mixture........makes it like an apple crumble. TIP: place a layer of paper towels between the crock pot top and crock pot to absorb condensation.
