1 package (16 ounce size) dates
1 quart pecans
2 cups self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
6 eggs
1 stick butter
directions
Rolls dates and nuts in half the flour.
Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Add to the dates and nuts. Add remaining flour. Blend well.
Bake at 275 degrees F in a tube pan for approximately 1 hour.
