The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

4 eggs
2 cups matzoh meal
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix Matzo meal with salt and sugar. I
n a medium saucepan. bring water and oil to a boil. Add liquid to Matzoh meal mixture. Mix until well combined. Add eggs one at a time until combined.
Shape by hand into balls and place on a well greased cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until nicely browned.
