ingredients
4 cups warm water
2 tablespoons yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup oil
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 cups flour
directions
Mix warm water, yeast and sugar Let rise 10 minutes. Combine egg, sugar, oil, baking powder and salt Add yeast and stir. Add about 11 cups flour. Knead well.
Let rise once (about 2 hours). Shape into buns (don't punch). Leave another 2 hours. Bake at 375 or 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
