What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

1 1/2 tablespoon butter or stick margarine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can refrigerated French bread dough
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onions
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
non-stick cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic, saute 30 seconds or until lightly browned. Remove from heat, stir in garlic powder.
Unroll the French bread dough onto a lightly floured surface, brush dough with garlic mixture. Sprinkle the dough with chives and cheese.
Cut the dough crosswise into equal strips. Shape each strip into a knot. Place the knots onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for 17 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

These are great, and so simple to make. I posted the first photo of them. I did not make knots out of them, though. After cutting the strips (12), i rolled them up and tucked the end under as best I could. Also used minced green onion as I did not have chives around. Still really good, a nice thing to serve for company.
