It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Tried this and my family liked it alot. The reason we rated this at 4 and not 5 stars it seemed 400 deg for 4 hours was to long, stirred once an hour. We will make this again with a little more spice. Maybe @ 350 to 375 degrees....I may try this on the stove top or crock pot?? any reason not too? other wise a Great and Hearty dish for those cold Alaskan Nights!

This is a fabulous stew. It tastes so good. The only problem I had was at 400 degrees for 4 hours; it burned around the edges and stuck to the bottom. Even at stirring every hour on the hour, it still stuck and burned. Was wondering if I could turn the degrees down a bit.
