ingredients
1 broiler chicken
OR
1 package cut up chicken pieces
1 box (1 lb. size) saltine crackers
3 tablespoons margarine
salt and pepper, to taste
1 pint milk
directions
Wash and cook chicken after cutting up. Put chicken in a large boiler and cover with water. Cook until well done, take out all bones and skin. Add salt and pepper. Add margarine and milk. Heat to boiling.
Coarsely crumble crackers into mixture as it boils, turning heat down. Stir mixture while adding more crackers to get the thickness desired. Serve warm.
