ingredients
3 1/2 pounds whole chicken (cut into serving pieces)
4 potatoes (peeled and cut into four)
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 red or green bell pepper
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
1 clove garlic (crushed)
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

directions
Heat oil in a pot. Add chicken and cook until light brown. Remove from pot and set aside.
With the remaining oil, saute garlic and onions then add the tomato sauce and water. Let it boil, then put the chicken back to the pot. Cook until the meat is tender.
Add the potatoes and bell pepper. Simmer until the potatoes are cooked.
Season with salt and pepper (you can add more salt and pepper depending on your taste). Thicken sauce with bread crumbs. Serve with rice.
