ingredients

3 pounds frying chicken, cut up
2 chilies, split
1 onion, small, sliced
2 tablespoons coriander seed, ground
1 tablespoon caraway seed, ground
1 tablespoon turmeric
salt
2 tablespoons tamarind juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup coconut milk
oil

directions

Put chicken in a pan with all the ingredients except the oil. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed.

Heat oil in a deep fryer and deep fry chicken until golden brown.
