ingredients
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup chunky peanut butter
6 cups Special K cereal
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chocolate chips
directions
Bring syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Mix in Special K.
Spread into buttered 9x13-inch pan. Melt butterscotch chips and chocolate chips. Stir and spread on top. Cut into bars.

My daughter is peanut-allergic, so I used soy nut butter. I also varied the cereal and used 3 different kinds (bran flakes instead of Special K, Rice Krispies, and GrapeNuts) - it was fantastic! Will make again.
