Slow Cooker Corn & Lentil Soup

ingredients
1 1/2 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
1 1/2 cup lentils
1 large onion, chopped
3 celery ribs, sliced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon turmeric
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
7 cups chicken broth
1 cup corn kernels, cooked
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt
black pepper
directions
Place chicken thighs in a crock pot with lentils, chopped onion, celery, tomato paste, turmeric, cinnamon and chicken broth. Stir well and cook 3 to 5 hours on high or 7 to 9 hours on low or until thighs are tender.
Remove thighs and cut into bite size pieces. Return meat to pot along with corn kernels, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and serve hot.
