16 whole cloves
1 gallon apple cider
1 quart cranberry juice
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups orange juice
Combine the cinnamon stick, allspice, and cloves in a sheet of cheesecloth and tie shut with butcher's twine.
Place the spice bag in a saucepan along with the apple cider, cranberry juice, sugar, and orange juice. Bring to a simmer over low heat and let cook for 10 minutes.
Serve immediately or keep warm in a crock pot.
Serve in individual heat-proof mugs with an orange slice and cinnamon stick.
