ready in:
  1-2 hrs

ingredients

Dough

2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups quick rolled oats
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
2/3 cup oil
4 large eggs
2/3 cup whipping cream

Filling

1 cup cream cheese
1/3 cup powder sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 large egg

Topping

1/4 cup chopped pecans
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

directions

In a large bowl, combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix with a whisk until the mixture is well blended, then set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, milk, oil and eggs. Mix with a whisk until well blended; set aside until you make the filling.

In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg, honey and vanilla mix together. Add the powdered sugar and flour. Mix with a mixer until the cream cheese becomes smooth, then set aside.

Now, go back to the first two bowls and pour the liquid mixture into the flour mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon just until blended.

Pour half the mixture into two prepared 9" x 5" loaf pans. Pour equal amount of cream cheese filling into each pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture over top. Now, pour the rest of the applesauce mixture over top and set aside.

Next, make the topping by combining the chopped pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix together and spread over the two loaf pans.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-60 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before removing from the pans. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
