ingredients
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt or salt substitute
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch cinnamon
1/2 cup molasses or honey
1/4 cup polyunsaturated oil
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or cashews
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
directions
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl and add remaining ingredients. Stir everything together.
Pour into a loaf pan and let stand for 20 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes to an hour.

I really like this "bread". It is dense and meaty. I don't like waiting for the 20 minutes to go by, but it is delicious warm and it is better the next day.
