Prune Bread

ingredients
1 pound prunes, cooked and chopped (reserve juice)
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons soda
2  eggs
4 cups sifted flour
directions
Drain prunes. Add water to prune juice to make 2 cups liquid. 
 Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. 
 Combine all ingredients and bake in a 9" x 13" x 2" greased pan for 1 hour at 300 degrees F.
