2-5 hrs
ingredients
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
2 pinches dried parsley
1 1/2 cup unbleached white flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
directions
Add the warm water to a large bowl. Sprinkle the yeast evenly over the surface of the water. Let the yeast start to bubble.
Add the curry powder, parsley, flour, salt, oil, and garlic and mix well until a dough is formed.
Remove the dough to a floured surface. Knead it gently for 5 minutes. Form the dough into a round loaf and set aside in a draft-free place until it has doubled in size, about an hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the dough on a lightly greased and floured baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until light golden brown and has a solid crust.
Remove the bread from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.
