Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

2 cups self rising flour
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups berries (Huckleberry or blueberry)
Cream eggs, butter and sugar. Add flour, milk and vanilla. Sprinkle flour on berries to prevent them from going to the bottom. Add berries. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

This recipe was very delicious. I cut the sugar to 2/3 c. and I added a small bag of frozen blueberries instead of huckleberries (probably about 4 cups). We're trying to offer healther recipes here. Raspberries would be good too. The recipe used few basic ingredients. Great recipe for beginners snack or dessert with ice cream.
