ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
2 cups finely chopped pecans
directions
Beat sugar with eggs until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and melted butter. Mix flour, baking powder and salt, then add to egg mixture, beating well.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and pour batter in. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
Cut into sticks while warm. Cool in pan.
