ingredients
6 medium yams, cooked, peeled, quartered
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup evaporated skim milk
1 teaspoon butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. 
 Arrange yams in single layer in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes. 
 Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes. 
 Pour over yams. Return dish to oven and bake, basting frequently, for at least 15 minutes.
