ingredients
4 slices firm tofu, quartered
2 teaspoons soybean oil
garlic salt
2 quarts cut mixed greens
1/4 cup diagonally sliced green onions
1 small tomato, sliced
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, optional
Ginger Dressing
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger root
1/2 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
directions
Lightly brush tofu with oil and Ginger Dressing. Sprinkle with garlic salt.
For Ginger Dressing: Combine soy sauce and white wine vinegar with the grated fresh ginger root and bottled hot pepper seasoning; mix well.
On a well oiled grill, cook tofu until golden brown on both sides.
Toss the greens with Ginger Dressing; portion onto individual serving plates. Place the tofu slices on a bed of lettuce. Sprinkle with green onions and garnish with tomato slices. Sprinkle, with sesame seeds, if desired.
