Strawberry 7-Up Salad

This salad combines 7UP, applesauce, and strawberry gelatin for a bright, refreshing dish. Serve cold for a unique side at any meal.

ingredients
1 medium can applesauce
1 package strawberry gelatin
2 tablespoons sugar
1 orange, juice of
7 ounces 7-Up or other lemon-lime carbonated beverage
directions
Heat applesauce and add gelatin and sugar. Add other ingredients, adding 7-Up last. Pour into 8"x 8" pan and chill until set.
Serve with a small dollop of mayo flavored with a small amount of French dressing. This is a fairly dense salad, and easily goes into individual tart pans or other molds suitable for gelatin.
