Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

2 small packages orange jell-o
2 cups boiling water
1 can 7-up
3 bananas, sliced
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 can (20 ounce size) crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice
Topping
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg
1 cup reserved pineapple juice
1 carton (8 ounce size) Cool Whip
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
Dissolve jell-o in boiling water. Add 7-Up and chill until mixture reaches thick and syrupy stage. Add fruit. Pour into large glass serving dish or 10 x 13 pan. Chill until firm.
For the topping: combine the sugar, flour, egg, and reserved pineapple juice over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Fold in the Cool Whip; spread over top of the firm jell-o and sprinkle with the nuts. Refrigerate.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

This was quick to fix, pretty to look at, and delicious to eat! I made it exactly the way the recipe read!Putting a dollop of Cool Whip on the top is a nice touch!

Great recipe! I even serve it with just a Cool Whip topping and my guests rave about it. The combination of fruits makes it a must-have on a warm summer day!

I made this simple jello salad for an afternoon tea fundraiser. Was nervous offering a jello salad with fancy sandwiches and cookies, but the ladies raved about it!
this is a gerat receipt but also try folding in cream cheese instead of cool whip. this gives it a great flavor.
