ingredients
1/3 cup paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon dried onions water as needed
directions
Combine the paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried onions in a bowl. Add enough water to make a very spreadable paste. Divide the mixture in half.
Rub half of the paste inside the cavity of the turkey and under the skin. Thin the remaining half of the paste with additional water and use as a baste during the roasting time (use a basting brush to brush it on the skin of the turkey).
