ingredients
35 medium pears, ground
8 small onions, ground
8 red and green bell peppers, ground
4 cups sugar
1/4 cup salt
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons turmeric
2 pints vinegar
directions
Drain off some of the juice from ground veggies/pears. Add sugar, salt, mustard, vinegar, turmeric.
Cook slowly over low heat for 45 minutes.
Place in sterilized jars. Process in hot water bath 15 minutes.

I made pear relish 35 years ago but lost my recipe. This one sounds like the same ingredients only I can not remember if you have to peel the pears before grinding them or if you leave the peels on. Can you help me?
