ingredients

2/3 cup warm milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened
1 1/3 cup bread flour
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/3 cup chopped semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup toasted coconut

directions

Add all the ingredients to the bread machine in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer. Use the regular bread (white bread) setting and a light crust (or similar settings depending on your machine).

When the bake cycle is complete, remove the bread from the pan and let cool on a wire rack before slicing or storing. When cool, store the bread in an airtight container.
