Red And White Cabbage Salad
- add review
- #51822
1-2 hrs
ingredients
1 pound red cabbage, shredded
1 pound white cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
directions
Toss everything together. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve cool.
NOTE: Contrasting colors make this an attractive salad. What we call white cabbage is really tender inner leaves of a regular green cabbage. But all parts of cabbage may be used.

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
