When you need more than just an extra pep-in-your-step, create this dark roast delight. Married with brandy and a twist of citrus flavors, serve this coffee and conversations are guaranteed to start flowing.

ingredients
hot black coffee
1 jigger brandy
1/2 jigger Cointreau
2 whole cloves
1 piece orange peel
1 piece lemon peel
directions
Make enough hot black coffee to three quarters fill a heatproof handled glass.
Pour the brandy and Cointreau into a small pan and add the cloves and orange and lemon peels.
Put the pan over a hot heat. Just before the mixture comes to the boil, set it alight with a long taper and pour it flaming over the coffee. Serve at once.
