ingredients
1 orange, peel of -- broken into 10 or 12 pieces
4 sticks cinnamon, 4" long, broken into bits
10 whole cloves
3 demitasse coffee cups Cognac
14 lumps loaf sugar
10 demitasse cups hot strong black coffee
directions
Place first 5 ingredients into the Cafe Brulot bowl. Fill 1 T. with Cognac. Hold lighted match underneath spoon and ignite contents of bowl with burning Cognac.
Ladle high for effect. Stir and ladle high. Pour in slowly from coffee pot the demitasse cups of strong, hot, black coffee and ladle at once from bowl to the cups.
