Looking for crock pot recipes found yours unsure if it is for a crock pot as it does not say cook low or high for 4 hours.....so i passed would have loved to have tried it

    • Actually, it does say to cook on LOW for 4-6 hours (last line of the directions). Too bad that you passed on it simply because you misread as it's a great recipe!

I wouldn't have tried this if it didn't have a review as it sounded like it wouldn't work. Glad I tried it because it was really good! I've had regular oven salmon loaf before that I enjoyed so it was nice to make it in the crock pot and keep the oven off. It did make the kitchen smell a little fishy while it cooked but not in a bad way really.

A man's kind of easy recipe and tasty food. Recipe worked the first time! And best of all - it makes a great left over cold sandwich with ketchup. I made a white sauce for it when I served it hot. But next time, it goes straight to the refrigerator for cold sandwiches.
